Timeline?

Hey guys,

So I just got a bunch of my information from NTI, and it seems as though I will have absolutely no time to work on this project next semester. Not an exaggeration. Also, internet access is super limited (!!!!!!!), so I won't even be that available, for talksies. Basically, what I'm saying is, we need to either get a really solid working draft of this up by the end of summer, or I may have to give up the "shapey" role, and someone else can step in.

The way it's been going has been pretty patchy, with a lot of cool ideas, but not much output or cohesive story/plot. Would it be more helpful for Ashur and I to give more homework assignments? Those seemed kind of random to me. I feel like we just need to all step it up a little bit and get an outline of what happens, and then get going on it.

What do ya'll think?

  1. yeah yeah, I was just going to email you guys to see how it was going

I worried about losing stuff in a rush to solidify too, but I think as long as we stay flexable with add/drop stuff

I'm going to think up some plot structure charts this afternoon and email them out tonight and also a production team web chart

We also have to think about auditions, and how they're going to happen with eva in CT, we really should cast before xmas break because not as many people are going to be at school for jan term and we might limit our options
also, how is everyone feeling about j term? are you all going to be there? it might be good to start early. Our slot was moved up a week because of spring break so lets keep that in mind.

  2. auditions are going to be interesting. eva, do you have an assistant director? if so, we should probably get them involved soon so that you have time to talk to them about what you feel like you want before casting happens.

i'll be around for jan term. as far as i know i'm working on diana's show, but that shouldn't really impede me from being able to have meetings for this.

  3. I absolutely don't want to cast before winter break. I need to be there. I think we will be fine casting the first week of spring term.

I'll be around for bits of jan term. more than less probably.

  4. Working draft is a bon idea. I'm going to detroit for a week and a half and will be bored as hells there, so if I have some more material to work with I can start nailing things together, and I can fill in what isn't there.........
